Description
Function 1: Interval Operation. Pulse Reset
When power is applied to the unit. the relay remains de-energized until a reset occurs. When the reset contact closes. the relay switched on and the timer starts running immediately. irrespective of the duration of the reset contact closure. When the set time has elapsed. the relay switches off until another reset occurs.
Example: Event monitoring.
Function 2: Interval operation. hold reset
When power is applied to the unit. the relay remains de-energized until a reset occurs. When the reset contact closes. the relay energizes and the timer assumes a “reset and hold” mode. When the reset contact releases. the timer starts running and the relay remains energized until the set time has elapsed. When the set time has expired. the relay switches off until another reset occurs.
Example: Timed light switch.
Function 3: Delay on Operation. Pulse Reset
When power is applied to the unit. the relay remains de-energized until a reset occurs. When the reset contact closes. the timer starts running and the relay energizes when the set time has elapsed. When the reset contact closes again. the relay switches off and the timer starts running immediately. irrespective of the duration of the reset contact closure. When the set time has elapsed. the relay switches on until another reset occurs.
Example: Conveyor belt break detection.
Function 4: Delay on operation. hold reset
When power is applied. the relay remains de-energized until reset occurs. When the reset contact IS released. the timer starts running and the relay energizes when the set time has elapsed. When the reset contact closes again. the relay switches off and the timer assumes a “reset and hold” mode. When the reset contact is released. the timer starts running. and the relay remains off until the set time has elapsed. When the set time has expired. the relay switches on until another reset occurs.
Example: Delayed pulsed timing.
Function 5: Equal Repeating. Pulse Hold
When power is applied. the relay remains de-energized until reset occurs. When the reset contact closes. the relay energizes until the set time has elapsed and then de-energized for the set time. This cycle repeats until the pulse is removed.
Example: Alarm indication
Function 6: On / Off Delay
The time period begins as soon as the trigger contact is closed. At the end 0 the set delay time the relay operates. When the trigger contact isopened the delay period begins. At the end of the set delay time the relay releases.
