When a supply is applied to the unit the 10seconds start-up delay activates energizing the relay for 10seconds. After this time period the relay starts monitoring its own supply. If the frequency rises above the set upper level orbelow the set lower level the relay will de-energize.

Thermistor-Relay
Thermistor Motor Protection Relay

Thermistor motor protection unit which interfaces directly to a PTC sensor to provide protection of motors, alternators, transformers, etc. The unit will trip if the nominal trip temperature for the sensor is exceeded.

 

The fault latching facility is incorporated which can be reset via the front panel membrane switch or opening contacts 7 & 8. A test facility to simulate fault conditions is also incorporated on the front panel membrane switch.

 

The ON and OFF times can be adjusted independently.
