Microprocessor based pump protection relay capable of protecting a submersible pump against all major power line faults. The unit calibrates itself under normal running conditions and stores these parameters in non-volatile memory. The unit also in corporate a reset delay for under current situations to enable the borehole to replenish itself. Inan over current situation the unit will retry three times to prevent permanent tripping with temporary blockages.

Pump Sequence Relay – PSR1

Pump sequence module is designed to optimize the wear on pumps, compressors or generators. The first input energizes the first pump and stores this in non-volatile memory. Subsequent inputs will energize the next output. The number of its outputs correspond to the number of outputs. After power down or no inputs activated and an input is activated, the next in the sequence of outputs is activated. This ensures balanced usesage of the pumps because the same pump is not activated at the beginning of a sequence.

Thermistor-Relay
Thermistor Motor Protection Relay

Thermistor motor protection unit which interfaces directly to a PTC sensor to provide protection of motors, alternators, transformers, etc. The unit will trip if the nominal trip temperature for the sensor is exceeded.

 

The fault latching facility is incorporated which can be reset via the front panel membrane switch or opening contacts 7 & 8. A test facility to simulate fault conditions is also incorporated on the front panel membrane switch.

 

The ON and OFF times can be adjusted independently.
