The unit is designed for machines where the operator has to push two buttons to activate the machine itself (two hand control). A latch facility is incorporated to use with a foot switch.

Mode of Operations

 

Both buttons (NO contacts) must be pushed within a fixed time (0.5s) to activate the output relay.

 

If one is released. the relay de-energizes instantaneously. To activate the relay is necessary to release also the other button and then push both contemporary. When both buttons are pushed.

 

The output relay can be latched by closing an external contact (terminals 4-7). In this case the output relay de-energizes only by opening the latch or pushing one of the buttons. If both buttons are closed when the unit is powered up. the relay energizes instantaneously.
