Power Supply Unit – PSU

Microprocessor based pump protection relay capable of protecting a submersible pump against all major power line faults. The unit calibrates itself under normal running conditions and stores these parameters in non-volatile memory. The unit also incorporates a reset delay for under current situations to enable the borehole to replenish itself. In an over current situation the unit will retry three times to prevent permanent tripping with temporary blockages.

Thermistor motor protection unit which interfaces directly to a PTC sensor to provide protection of motors, alternators, transformers, etc. The unit will trip if the nominal trip temperature for the sensor is exceeded.

The fault latching facility is incorporated which can be reset via the front panel membrane switch or opening contacts 7 & 8. A test facility to simulate fault conditions is also incorporated on the front panel membrane switch.

The ON and OFF times can be adjusted independently.
